South African Fashion Blogger

I fell in love with fashion when I was still a kid. I remember when used to used to design dresses for me and my younger sister. We will play dress up and go present the dresses to my mom and her friend. I remember my mom’s friend told me to never give up on fashion and I should train myself as a fashion designer. As I grew up, I started to focus on other things and I forgot about my love for fashion designing. I started doing a course I did not love, little did I know that it will take me back to fashion.

I did Web Development. I remember the boredom during classes, I was so miserable, then I decided to open a fashion blog. While my peers were busy developing systems I was busy setting up my fashion posts. I remember I first named it fierce quirky because I told myself I was fierce yet quirky. I later changed it to Nomusa’s world because everyone was doing it. Which was a bad idea because that’s not what I wanted. I stop blogging for a while because I was doing it for a wrong reason. After some few years when I found myself and I was authentic about my life, I decided I wanted to become a South African fashion blogger and a lifestyle blogger. I started coming up with a name that feels right for me. Nomusa. All my blogs are by Nomusa. Nomusa means grace. So by God’s grace, everything that I post will have a meaning and impact into your lives. I want to use my fashion blog as a platform to serve a purpose, from fashion advice to loving yourself. I hope you will connect with me as I begin to share my journey with you as a South African fashion blogger and lifestyle blogger. I want to engage with you. I want to grow with you. I know God will use me greatly on this platform. Much love: By Nomusa.

  1. Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the blood, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, keep it up

  2. Interesting read Nomusa. Keep writing about fashion. Many people study something else and their interest could be another thing.

  3. […] been one interesting journey for me, especially when it comes to my spiritual growth and my worth. Fashion has always been my passion but there was a time where I would let my clothing define myself worth. […]
